Do you offer in-person sessions?
Yes. Our therapists see clients in person at the Community Roots Wellness Hub in White Salmon, WA. Telehealth is also available for Washington state residents.
Can I see a therapist if I live in Oregon?
We are currently licensed to provide therapy in Washington state only. If you live in Oregon — including the Hood River area — we are not able to see you virtually at this time. We hope to expand in the future and encourage you to check back. For Oregon residents, Psychology Today's therapist finder at psychologytoday.com is a great place to start.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes! Gorge Therapy Group works with several major insurance plans. Visit our Insurance & Fees page for the current list. Not sure if we take yours? Reach out and we'll help you check before you commit to anything.
How do I know which therapist is right for me?
Take a look at our Meet Our Therapists page — each therapist lists their specialties, approach, and availability. If you're still not sure, reach out and we'll help match you. There's no wrong place to start.
What services do you offer?
We offer individual therapy for adults and teens, in person at the Community Roots Wellness Hub in White Salmon and by telehealth anywhere in Washington. Our therapists help with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions and relationship challenges, and we bring family members into sessions when it helps. We also provide school-based therapy in the White Salmon Valley School District.

What makes you different?
We're a local, community-based practice built so people in the Gorge, including Apple Health (Medicaid) members, have a real choice of therapist close to home. We accept all Washington Apple Health plans, and every therapist receives ongoing clinical supervision from our Clinical Director, so you have a whole team invested in your care.
